Jeanne - Golden Pool

Description

Jeanne was walking through the woods on a warm day when she saw a small pool of water.  Deciding to take the opportunity to rest and cool off, she removed her gloves and boots and dipped her legs into the refreshingly cool water, and cupped a small amount into her right hand.  The water felt so refreshing after her journey, and the scenery around her was beautiful, with lush vegetation and butterflies frolicking around the pool.

But before long, she felt a tingling sensation in her legs and her hand, and she saw that her outstretched hand was taking on a yellowish color and growing shinier by the second.  She vaguely supposed that she should be concerned, but it just felt so good.  And after a moment longer, she couldn't have moved even if she wanted to.

It wasn't long before her body had completely hardened, rendering Jeanne a priceless statue of solid gold, but she wasn't bothered at all.  She was at peace sitting there on the pool's edge, and knew she didn't have to worry about her quest anymore.  She simply had to exist and enjoy her surroundings

Of course, such a lovely statue did not go unnoticed, and she was soon lifted from the cursed pool and brought to a local nobleman's house.  After having her now-unneeded clothes removed, she was placed in his garden, where she uncomplainingly served as a wonderful decoration for many years to come.

Jeanne Kaguya d'Arc from Nobunaga the Fool.  I haven't actually seen this anime (I stumbled across the original image when I was looking for Fate/Apocrypha's Jeanne and thought it would make for a nice manip).  Is it any good?

Anyways, there seem to be several design similiarities between her and Saber - blue hair ribbon, braided hair in the back / an ahoge, a blue and white color scheme for their clothes...   But this Jeanne certainly has some more impressive measurements.

The idea of a gold transformation via contact with a pool of water was inspired by the Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, which I read many years ago.
