Charlotte - Casual Mannequin (Abstract)

Made to "disappear", the illegitimate daughter of the president of the Dunois Corporation had a lovely youthful figure, and the one assigned to the job thought it would be a waste to simply dispose of her.  So he took it upon himself to preserve her beauty, treating her with a solution that plasticized and vitrified her body.  Of course, he couldn't afford to have anybody recognize her, so he had to efface those features that had marked her as human.  Still, when he set her up for the first time, he had to say that she made a fine mannequin, beautiful but anonymous, with the light of his studio gleaming gently off her glossy white fiberglass skin.  He also knew a store that had need of a pretty new window dummy, so he sold it to them at once.  It was a good home for a mannequin, one that would use its figure tastefully, and it was a few hundred extra bucks for him, a win-win-win scenario.  Now she stands there, supported by a rod in her ankle, effortlessly drawing in customers, as she will for years to come.
